I am a chartered counselling psychologist, psychotherapist and counsellor in Marylebone, Central London and Amersham.
Are you feeling emotionally low? Struggling to cope with personal or relationship issues, anxiety, bereavement, depression or trauma? Perhaps you’re experiencing chronic stress or panic attacks, you find it hard to communicate with others and you are feeling isolated.
However you feel, it's often not easy to talk about it. Most of us aren’t used to reaching out for professional support. We’re brought up to think asking for help can be a sign of weakness – especially in competitive environments. And the fact that we’re not taught how to take care of our mental well being can make things seem that much harder.
You can change. Working together with a counselling psychologist can let you see a way forward. I’m here to help you find the inner strengths and resources you need to unblock what’s troubling you and move on with life.
My way of working is safe, relational, non-judgemental, thoughtful and reflective. I give you the chance to work through difficult emotions and traumatic life experiences in a deeply personal way. As an experienced psychotherapist I'll be a helping hand at your side as you grow stronger and heal. You can talk to me in my Central London consulting room situated on Nottingham Street, Marylebone (Baker Street tube station) or at my practice in Coleshill, Amersham.
I am registered with Aviva, Cigna, WPA, Helix UK, Nuffield Health insurance companies.
I look forward to meeting you.

Considering marriage guidance or couples counselling / therapy? Neuroscience suggests that seeing a relationship counsellor could help since after all we are neurologically wired to connect with others.
Work is an essential part of life. We all spend a LOT of time working, so our careers have a major impact on our personal relationships and social lives. Because the more fulfilled we are by what we do, the healthier and happier we feel. I offer counselling and psychotherapy services for work-related issues.
According to the American Psychological Association (APA), trauma is a response to an event that a person finds highly stressful and can’t cope with. The person does not have the emotional and psychological capacity to process the disturbing experience. Trauma causes both physical and emotional symptoms.
Yes! From my personal and professional experience, couple therapy does work! It helps partners become aware of their unhealthy behavioural patterns which, in time, become automatic and hard to stop from happening over and over again.
Couple therapy can offer a safe relational space where partners learn how to hear each other, without getting into an argument. In this way they begin to change their unhealthy behaviours which keeps them stuck in toxic cycles and emotionally distant. Psychotherapy is not an easy or quick process, but it does work! Couple therapy can help couples learn how to communicate in new ways that they might not have known previously. With new, healthy communication skills on board, couples can begin to address uncomfortable issues like intimacy blocks, money, sexual preferences and other challenging topics in a constructive way which enhances the relational bond.
